In May 1993, TNT Construction, Inc. was established. Our working philosophy, while a concept new to the industry, was sound: to fully service a client’s needs rather than simply managing construction projects.

In an alliance that began at Marnell Corrao Associates (MCA) in 1980, we have compiled an impressive track record. We are proud to say, we were part of the team that made MCA one of the most successful design-build construction companies in the country.

Today, TNT has a diverse roster of projects to our credit – high-rises, parking structures, office complexes, distribution and manufacturing facilities, renovations and tenant improvements. Quite a feat considering that ninety percent of our work is negotiated, often through a design-assist process. In just 14 years, we have become a top fast-track contractor and one of the largest general contractors in northern Nevada. MEET THE TNT TEAM

FRED TAEUBEL
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Mr. Taeubel has 46 years of extensive experience in various facets of the construction industry. Fred is a pioneer of the “fast track” process whereby key construction tasks are identified and monitored along an escalated critical path. This has resulted in projects, regardless of size, being completed in record breaking construction time. He is a former President of the Nevada Chapter of Associated General Contractors (AGC), and a past member of the AGC’s Board of Directors. He is a recipient of the prestigious SIR award from the AGC. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Truckee Meadows Boys & Girls Club. Fred holds a B.A. in Industrial Arts from California State University at Long Beach.

LE ARNOLD
PRESIDENT

Mr. Arnold has 20 years of hands-on experience as a jobsite administrator, superintendent, assistant project manager, project manager, estimator and chief estimator. Le’s diverse project knowledge includes construction of hotels, casinos, restaurants, parking structures, commercial buildings, public works and elementary and middle schools. He was the President and Vice President of the Phi Delta Theta National Fraternity. Le attended the University of Nevada, Reno.

CHRISTINE A. SILVA, CPA
CONTROLLER/SECRETARY-TREASURER

Ms. Silva has worked in the construction industry for over 21 years including serving several major real estate contractors while in public accounting. Her association as the controller for a top twenty design-build construction contractor, Marnell Corrao, has proved to be an invaluable asset to TNT. Christine is a member of the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is a past president of the Construction Financial Management Association. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno.

JOHN N. TONEY
ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER

Mr. Toney has over 30 years in the construction industry in the capacities of project manager, estimator and chief estimator. John’s project experience includes construction of hotels, ski resorts, condominiums, parking structures, retail shops, casinos, water and sewage treatment plants and various other projects including both the public and private sector.

RON JORDAN
PROJECT MANAGER

Mr. Jordan has over 12 years experience in construction and 8 years in project management. Ronnie attended Virginia Tech 1996 - 2000 and majored in Building Construction. His project experience consists of residential master-plan communities, condominiums, multi-level retail buildings, restaurants, dormitories and data centers.

SHARON PALACZ
ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

Ms. Palacz has 30 years of customer service experience. She spent 28 years with Honeywell Electronics in management capacities of customer service, administrative services, IT and purchasing. She started at TNT in the roll of administrative assistant and quickly moved up to Assistant Controller. Sharon is also a Nevada Notary Public.

LORI PORTER
PROJECT MANAGER ASSISTANT

Mrs. Porter has 10 years experience in customer service support and four years experience as an administrative assistant. She earned a Business Management Degree from MTI Business and Technology College in California. Lori is a Nevada Notary Public.
